About

Skibbereen is a band of five dedicated musicians with well over one hundred years of collective professional musical pursuit making their own brand of Celtic music. Committed to preserving and promoting the traditional music from whence this genre emanates, Skibbereen is also excited to bring many “otherworld” musical styles which have developed in direct descendancy from Celtic back into our unique musical message.  We have shared almost one year together as a band and look forward to many more years together in our quest to share with as many as possible this wildly variant musical palette and hope you share in our joy of this music.  We look forward to meeting you all!
